@hazelpoet Please accept my condolences. I’ve had little success in keeping these bastards under control. Shinny eggs everywhere, my coffee, food, clothing, skin, and basically everything I own. They make rabbits looks like celibates. If the air in your home is saturated with these eggs, I suggest you focus on keeping them at bay. These little creeps multiply too quickly, and are extremely tenacious when they’ve found a tasty host like myself. Sorry, wish I could be of more help.

how is it coming for you? I believe what I am personally dealing with (and have been for a while) is pepper mites. Yes, it does make you look delusional. But delusions don't bite! My animals have waken me up to get them off "parts" that they were in pain from being bit. Do you notice it looks like black pepper at times and has rats been in the apartment building?

@Healoneministries I’m still alive but living with this weird ailment. Perhaps you managed to identify the offending mite, but without any help from medical practitioners, I’ve gone from morgellons to scabies to bird mites to springtails to members of my immediate family.
What I do know is - 1. The air in my mother’s home as well as my apartment is saturated with some form of glittering substance that I assume are eggs. continued....

@Healoneministries 2. These eggs imbed themselves in everything they land on, including wooden floors, tile, my skin and hair, etc. etc. 3. I’ve had some very strange things exit my body via my skin. 4. I’ve been through a mould infestation. 5. I’ve aged 10 years in the past 24 months. 6. I’ll never get those years back. 7. I’m really jumpy. If someone creeps behind me they usually get an elbow in the face. Not my fault. 8. The world is going to hell in a hand basket. Cont.

@Healoneministries . 9. I believe that I’ve earned an honorary degree in Macro Photography (close-up pics of skin and artefacts in and around my apartment.
Can you relate to any of the above, more specifically the shiny eggs? Very much want to identify the problem and work towards solving it, gaining weight and getting both my physical and mental health back. Good luck, and thanks for writing :)

hartz flea and tick spray for cats , dilluted in water , one part spray to 3 parts water , this is for the carpets and also washing with Dawn dishwashing detergent helps as they are resistant to permithian now . That and keep things clean , get rid of clutter , wash all clothes in hot water , and VACUUM daily !!!!! it helps alot , this is my 4rth week of dealing with the little creeps . Good luck , cool video

@halloweenphantasm You make an excellent point about clutter. Although my apartment is clean, it is a bit cluttered with boxes and bags of no particular use. I know the problem is red mites because I’ve found several caught in a Swiffer cloth I use when not vacuuming. Where do they come from? Why me? :) Thanks for your kind remarks and good advice.
