Nothing wrong with the tune but I don't think it was composed by Sharon Shannon and I get the feeling the name was added soloely to get hits which is disappointing. The Silver Spear is great , well played.

@UISTMAN59 Thank you for your kind comment about the silver spear but I think your disappointment is misplaced about the blackbird.Firstly I didnt say it was composed by Sharron Shannon,its a very old tune which she made popular by her magical playing, like her playing of Galway Girl which was composed by Steve Earl,so by me using her name which separates it from the Paul McCartney song "Blackbird" I"m sure she would not object and if a few extra views come in ,thats ok with me.

@armaghlore thanks for the compliment! Swan is a chinese make and is also made under the name Planetone although its hard to get them in keys suitable for trad music.
