  • People up in the mountains still set these up to cut timber on their own place

    to build houses, barns and outbuildings. You even find one for sale every

    now and then. Mostly you see Frick steam sawmills up where I'm from.

  • @jayshepherds, early 1900s portable steam engines and steam tractors, I think they have three running it.
