Fantastic cover of an amazing song. Keep it up!

yea, it's actually the little mic on my video camera that's distorting. the camera is really nice but the mic leaves a lot to be desired. and yea i still play drums.

another little tip is a nice soundcard and a better mic. i think it would help a ton. especially when you hit those high notes =)
maybe one day i'll get to come back from ga and see a live show. haha i remember when you got your first drumset. you still play drums?

your voice is gorgeous. just like your face. <3

I like your guitar, but you are pushing your voice too hard to be heard over the guitar, which is making you mess up on some notes.

ha i actually think i have a pretty loud voice so i don't really worry about being heard over the guitar. the loudest parts are on the chorus and they're loud because it's a high note for me so i have to really get behind it to get up there and hit it. i think most of the mistakes i made were at the beginning when i was kinda getting into the groove of the song and getting my voice warmed up a bit. were there amy specific parts you were thinking of? i'd love to know! and thanks for the comment.

you definitely did get better by the end, I think it is that you did not get the notes quite right because you were straining your voice to get to the high notes. You might try warming up your voice before you record.

yea i mean this was the first of like 5 videos i did that day so this was pretty much the "warm-up" song ha. and i mean it's just a youtube video so i don't really bother with all the formalities haha. the only time i really do another take is if i mess up pretty noticeably. i normally do warm ups before shows or before tracking in the studio though.
