I've always wanted to simulate a claymation look and feel on a 3D character - so I developed this little guy and did a quick walk cycle.

Built a "fat" system for the tummy and butt using influence objects with deformers and constraints.

The rig has a simple muscle and fat system for the tummy and butt.

  • Hehe - yeah this was just a 1 sec test that's been lopped a few times but I've been thinking along the same lines.

There is a bump for the fingerprints but the compression removes most of the effect. I was also thinking of randomly ofsetting the fingerprint UV for each frame.

  • LOL, great!

  • awesome animation!! 5*****

  • Just needs a few very linear blinks! Ever thought about using displacement maps to mimic finger prints? Would be cool to have some kind of random mapper tool for this...
