SSL STRIPPING - this attack is virtually a man in the middle attack. Once the attacker gains access to the network, he will do a scan for targets. Once one is found, and is scanned, it will be determined what attack to use. Iptables is used to put all network traffic into forward mode in order the network traffic to a designated port, this using a spoofed arp ( trickets the router into thinking your mac address is really supposed to be matched with its IP address. After this is done, SSL strip is ran, taking off the https into http and allowing ettercap to record their user and passwords.

  • how do you do all computers on the router at once? do i have to open up multiple windows and arp spoof eachone or is there a command to do all in once window? and i often see this: 192.168.1.101 what kind of devices are these?
