Godfather IV

The third Godfather was by far the weakest link in the chain, but I think it was better than people give it credit for. Coppola casting his inexperienced daughter was a HUGE mistake for sure. I think that a fourth film would have been very intriguing. It would have been nice to have seen the Corleone Family in the 30's and seen what happened to Vincent. It is a shame that Puzo died, he really wanted a 4th Godfather made. By the way, my username is no coincidence!

All 3 movies? Godfather 1 and 2 are possibly the greatest movies ever made. Hands down, no argument. Godfather 3 is a travesty of a sham.

Casting his daughter as the lead? Scandalously stupid. The whole global plot dealie? Ridiculous action movie fare. Letting Pacino give it the whole "Scent Of A Woman" treatment? Tragic.

godfather 3: a good cap on the series (just like Rocky 5)

The Godfather is one of those films that are just a necessity in life to watch. one point or another your going to have to know some things about it.

I agree! but when i watched the godfather for the first time, i barley new the actors! yet i still loved the movie! this is because the theme of the godfather, and the idea of the mafia is just awsome! thats why i love it!
