Radio host Bob Morey combines bad apologetics with sensationalism in his never ending quest to create "conspiracy theories" that "gullible" (see file qube for documentation) Christians will buy into. Morey figures that if people believe his tales of doom & gloom they may purchase his books, CDs, or give him donations. Listeners here will get one of many examples of Morey's bad apologetics concerning Islam. Morey claims Muhammad took a sword out & cut the moon in half with it & he puts references for this in his writings. Unfornately for "Make Up a Story" Morey, when a reader goes to the references Morey gives in his Islam material, no "sword" of Muhammad is ever found. Hank Hanegraaff, director of the Christian Research Institute & host of the "Bible Answer Man" radio show whose founder was Dr Walter Martin who was a frequent guest on the John Ankerberg Show says "Dr" Robert A. Morey of Faith Defenders, Biblical Thought, Faith Community Church (FCC), California Biblical University and Seminary (CBUS), Bob Morey Live, and Doxological Apologetics is dishonest & unscholarly. Hanegraaff's comments come in reference to a report Morey wrote in his national "Researcher" newsletter attacking Gregory A. Boyd, author of the book, "Oneness Pentecostals and the Trinity." Boyd's book was endorsed by Hanegraaff & the CRI staff. In a letter by Dr. Boyd he states, "..."Truth-Seeker Bob [Morey] went after me with a vengence. He was trying to prove Hank Hanegraaff was incompetent in endorsing my book by proving that I was a heretic on the basis of my former book "Trinity and Process". He sent letters around the country telling Christian distributors to stop selling my books because I was (among other things) a process theologian, that I denied the Incarnation, I denied the Trinity!!!, and I was, in short, a closet liberal. His tactics half worked as my book sales dropped significantly. I still get hassaling mail from people about this. Well, to make a long story short, I have never in my life encountered, or even imagined, such blatant malice, deceit, and vile ungodliness -- let alone in someone who taunts himself as a Christian leader. At first I thought this was just an extraordinarily dull person (I had never heard of him before) who couldn't read, who had an extraordinary meglomaniac streak which made him want to be a "scholar." Hence he looked silly. But, as the case wore on, I began to see that the situation was far worse. He 'had' to understand my work enough to know 'how' to distort it. And, I began to see, he had to be lying intentionally to be so consistent and manipulative with them. This man, I finally came to see, WAS EVIL. He's a megalomaniac with a vengence, and so far as I can see, not an ounce of honesty or integrity to curb it with. This man is, in my estimation, very bad for Christianity, and very dangerous." The entire letter and other supporting documentation can be found by going to a hard copy pdf site on the internet called fileqube (.com)/ shfolder/10211vNiXWr and look for the report entitled "Recapping Events." Another useful site is the saintaugustinian (.blogspot) with links to multiple internet sites & blogs that expose "Faith Defector" Robert A. Morey for what he really is which adds support & documentation to what Boyd has said.

  • "TheHonestTheist" has recommended something that he gives no detail about or comment. I need more reason than this to check something out. At least in my life time is very important to me & wasting it is not something I care to do unless I'm on summer vacation (ah, the beach is a great place to waste time). The Bible says we should "redeem the time because the days are evil" (Ephesians 5:16). You'll have to give us more of an explaination. In the meantime yahoo or google search MOREYLINKS.

You haven't changed a bit. Always referring to people in the third person as if you are declaring something to the public. Talk like a normal person rather than trying to sound like a prophet.

  • @gneisenau321 I looked at your Youtube channel and was quite unimpressed. Other than saying you live in Singapore you seem to be embarrassed to say anything about yourself. What are you afraid of? Who do you think you are, judging others, when you are too scared to declare your own position. If you had any analytical common sense you would realize that the comments section is read by other people for that very purpose! Talk like a "normal person" rather than a ninny for the common good.

  • A few small points:

    1. Thank you for your admission that I made valid points.

    2. Bottom line issue here: Islam will ruin America, if allowed.

    3. Everyone has faults, easy to pick him apart when the man publishes a book. (Where is your book, that I may read it?). I have one, for private publication.

    4. From memory: it seems you worked with Morey before. If true, then your motives are biased. I don't know what happened with you 2, but you seem bitter.

    5. I don't post anymore, time waster.

  • Proverbs 6:16-19 points out many qualities that God hates. It seems you probably are not very familar with the Bible or its code of ethics & behavior which explains your comments. Are you "bitter" predicated on your second comment 3 months ago? Are you "biased" this time when you carelessly look the other way when we talk of Morey's criminal actions (which are documented on yahoo at moreylinks) & focus instead on mundane issues of "bitterness" & "bias." Ignorance is what wastes time.

"Other than saying you live in Singapore you seem to be embarrassed to say anything about yourself."

Well what do you want me to say?

  • it's part of my attempt at apologetics, something someone who hosts/watches apologetics videos might appreciate ;)
