Startup time comparison between a HP Mini 1000 and a MacBook Pro:
HP Mini 1000 with 1.6GHz Intel Atom Processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB Solid State Disk.
MacBook Pro with 2.2GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 3GB RAM and 120GB SATA Disk.

@Technoguy3 but it doesn't depend only in the disk drive, it depends in the amount of ram and the processor too, thats why the macbook pro loads faster

The HP Mini has a Solid State Drive, which is 10+X faster than the MacBook Pro. So the Mini should actually load faster. Idiota?
