This is the first music video I ever made, back in 1989. One that I am most proud of, both in content and for the opportunity to work with the prestigious Cordell Jackson. This video we used to help get Cordell on David Letterman, Arsenio Hall, Regis & Kathie Lee, MTV, and the Jon Stewart Show. It also helped Cordell land the Budweiser commercial with Brian Setzer that premiered in a super bowl many moons ago, nearly making her a houselhold name. In 1990 we achieved a finalist award for it from The International Film & TV festival of New York. We were thrilled to work with Cordell Jackson again for our independent feature length film, Wayne County Ramblin', in which Cordell plays a prison security guard with genuine authority! Cordell was a marvelous performer and human being. She is much missed, as she passed away in 2004. The finished film has recently been made available on DVD through our website;

  • Brilliant production!

  • she rocks !!

  • happy b day great aunt cordell!! shes my grandmas sister

  • I played drums for her in 1990 two nights in St.Louis and the 3rd night in Columbia,Mo-She was a really cool lady,told me about seeing Elvis' 1st live show at The Overton Shell In Memphis in 1954.

  • Lover!

    I mean I love her, What a player, Keeps on rockin. :*) Bless Her!

  • The thing I like most about this video is that Cordell didn't feel like she had to change her look to play hard, fast and well. The great Les Paul could blow away 85% of guitarists on his death bed, but you didn't see him with hair extensions or wearing studs & earrings. He and Cordell let their guitars do the talking.

  • Wow. This is an exceptionally well made video, even apart from the fact of who it's about... Look forward to buying a copy of your movie soon. Thanks for posting.

  • Remember, she a Mississippi girl originally, which goes to show you Mississippi folk know how to rock!

  • I especially love the way she cooks.. i have always done that..!
