Nat King Cole sings his version of "Stardust" to images from the Hubble Telecope & NASA. Please add your comment to the many others - you inspire with them all, it's an incredible compliment from complete strangers I'd like to know.

  • Wonderful, thank you so much for this beautiful video.

  • @ohthemoonandstars I just love your screen name: "OhTheMoonAndtheStars" Maybe it should be the name of an alt-rock band? Or trance band? Real groovy

  • @ohthemoonandstars what is there better to look in the night sky. A beautiful moon, and where I live I can see millions of stars on a clear night. Groovy is a word I used to say quite a bit-a long time ago.

  • @ohthemoonandstars Groovy is STILL a groovy word

  • When I was a boy my family would watch Nat King Cole on television. He had a beautiful voice. At that time there was wonderful entertainment. Andy Williams, Perry Como, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Dinah Shore, Ray Charles, Judy Garland, and the wonderful Grand Ole Opry. It was all free every week on TV. The best years of television and it was free. Today with over 200 channels there's nothing worth watching. We were so lucky and we didn't know it.

  • @speechrighter If you'll have a closer look at the video, you'll realize there was no oversight. NKC was the greatest, but this particular video is about honoring the SONGWRITER and (possibly) his inspiration, not the musicians - however great they might have been. cheers

  • @Embosan Thanks for that info for everyone here. You gotta love the cajones shown by William Wyler to cast that vet in his movie; it would be hard to imagine any major films or their directors doing something like that today? That film is really something...

  • @avgn1000 ?!?!?! Wacky comment, but kinda funny too - that's why I'm leaving it up

  • @torrents4u2c Speaking as a TV addict, video junkie etc., I disagree: I think there's some FANTASTIC content on TV, but you have to be very discerning: Right now, I love "Breaking Bad" & "Pawn Stars"; I also dig "Weeds" and "Dexter." Ya know?

  • @neonorchid58 I don't think the classics ever went away; maybe they got (briefly) out-marketed by "flavors of the month" music, but the ones that stand the test of time are the ones that always hold up for every generation

  • @pachanz thank you thank you thank you

  • @DepressioDeviny I'd rather be lucky than talented! After all.... what's talent without luck?

  • I listen to this every night. It is so calming. Thanks for posting.
