So, I think I could do the spin part, but honestly I'm mostly worried about dropping too much weight on my should when I re-grab. Does it ever feel like it jerks your shoulder really hard if grab too late?

@dandoze Normally, if I grab too late, I don't bother catching the ring. I'm not worried about my shoulder, but more my hands. I prefer not using grips for these and if I grab too late, then it's more by my fingertips and I run the risk of peeling off the ring or getting a rip. Neither are really worth it. Catching late while wearing grips normally results is awk dowel placement and I can't hang on. This trick is pretty slow and smooth so I don't think you'd have to worry about your shoulders.
