On Thursday, October 27, executives and guests of Guggenheim Investments visited the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate the initial public offering of the Guggenheim Equal Weight Enhanced Equity Income Fund. The fund began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol "GEQ".
To mark this special occasion, Jamal Pesaran, CFA, Portfolio Manager, of Guggenheim Partners rang The Opening Bell.
Guggenheim Equal Weight Enhanced Equity Income Fund (NYSE: GEQ)
The Guggenheim Equal Weight Enhanced Equity Income Fund's primary objective is to provide a high level of risk-adjusted total return with an emphasis on current income. The Fund will invest, under normal circumstances, substantially all of its Managed Assets in an equal weighted portfolio of common stocks included in the S&P 500® Equal Weight Index.
