PokerStars reached a settlement today with the US Department of Justice. As per the settlement agreement, PokerStars is scheduled to pay 547 million dollars over a three-year period to the US Government. All players who lost money when Full Tilt Poker went off-line will be repaid. US players will be paid through a process administered by the US Government, while a reported 184 million dollars will be kept in a separate bank account for non-US Full Tilt customers to withdraw with no restrictions.
