Cal Poly Pomona E-Week 2011 Penny Wars Commercial

The Cal Poly Pomona's Engineering Council is hosting a new activity for E-Week 2011 - Penny Wars! Penny Wars is a competition amongst all 7 engineering disciplines (ARO, CME, Civil, ECE, ET, IME, ME). We will have 7 clear bottles under the Engineering Council tent during all 3 activity days of E-Week (Feb. 22, 24 and March 5).

Pennies = +1 pt. (for your discipline)
Nickels = -5 pts. (for other disciplines)
Dimes = -10 pts.
Quarters = -25 pts.
Bills = +double pts. (e.g. $1 = 100 pennies = 100 pts. x 2 = 200 pts.)

Due to the differences in numbers per major, the worth per point is greater for a smaller discipline than a bigger discipline (ex. ARO x 5 = ME, ME is 5 times greater than ARO in numbers).

Throughout the week, the current winner will be posted near the atrium and/or the breezeway, Facebook, as well as on the front page of our website and the E-week page (see below). At the end of the week, the discipline with the most points will be awarded "Engineering Department of the Year". All money will go towards charity. Come out and support your major!
