I rang dozens of times on the night of the vote to vote for Rhydian and could not get through. I rang the Leon number once and got through with no problem. So so so sorry that call counted as one vote but the stats says it all.

Ask anyone now about Rhydian and everyone knows who he is. Leon? Leon who oh yeah the guy who got a fixed vote.

I didn't even know these 2 contestants from X Factor until today or just now. I watched as many videos as I could, esp. this song. I watched both Rhydian & Leon, but I'm so sorry, BUT Rhydian is WAY BETTER than Leon. What happened? We all know that Rhydian will go far and good luck to him!!! Rhydian did not win in that competition, but he will be a winner FOREVER with his great voice. He is such an amazing singer.

I have only 1 word for Rhydian if he wants t make his fortune in the US - Vegas, Baby. He could get a long term contract at any venue there and sell it out every night for at least 6 months. I think the clientele there will especially appreciate the sequine suit he wore when he sang "Get This Party Started".

I wish that people wouldn't keep calling him an opera singer. He is a musical theater type singer. Two different things entirely. Opera singers don't do well in musical theater. Their voices are too large. Rhydian has a large voice, but also has the flexibility to sing theater songs. And "Phantom of the Opera" is not a true opera either. It is a musical.

Rhydian reminds me of great American singers, like Perry Como or maybe Dean Martin, but it does carry a certain style and following. I think Leon is more contemporary, but again, he sounds best at jazz and ballads too, so the fans will be based on the songs the sing the best. I'm sure there are rap followers who hate them both :). I just don't think Leon got as much support and a year to get his album out. If you haven't listend, Creative I think is better than the other single they released.
