Does this work with any other media players? I was noticing the popcorn hour players are plagued with bugs and its twice as expensive as some really good players. Like the Micca players. Which is probably what I am getting

Looks good, but the PCH has some new competition now - The AC Ryan Playon!HD has introduced YAMJ in its new firmware.
It's not as spiffy as this yet, but it's getting there fast. They churn out updates like no tomorrow.
Finally, a REALTEK player with YAMJ.

I'm very impressed by your hard work here Allen. Just one question (though it may seem dumb). You hovered over the play buttons in this video - had you of clicked one of those buttons would it have taken you straight to the video on your hardrive? If so how quickly does it load an 8gb file?

The movie does not have to load completely before it starts playing .... as it is streamed instead to the PCH, and then on to the TV...
so, ... amovie start in 5 second or less.
