Excerpts from Sangita Kalanidhi Shri Palghat Raghu's lecture / demonstration on Carnatic music, entitled "The Multifaceted Splendour of Misram", held at the Madras Music Academy in December of 2007. In this segment, Shri Raghu explains how a mridangam solo (thani avarthanam) must flow seamlessly as a part of a composition.
