Tmobile G1 without Internet data package

So this video is to prove that you don't need the G1 internet package to have the G1 working.. All you need is to get someone else's g1 sim card unlock you phone and den put ur sim card back on your g1 and it should all work. messaging. No internet will work , only on wifi..

No the phone will not have free calling and testing this video just shows that a aim card with just text and talk will work on the g1! It's just to show that.

@cyclonejokerdouble12 find someone who has a g1 that has data on it, then borrow their sim to get through the email password thing. then once u logged in to ur phone you can return your sim in your phone

so all you have to do is get another persons tmobile sim card & put it in the g1 ?

b/c my fone is unlcoked by the tmobile retailer place in the store, & my cousin was playing with the unlock pattern SOOO. yeah, its locked. now.

@katietrinh95 you can try puttin the email and password in but if you dont have that info. you need to get someones G1 data ready sim.(not just any sim card)~~

Hi, I have a g1 code I found, but now my daughter locked it by trying to open it with the pattern. Now it asks for the email and password, but I dont have the original email and password. How can I get my phone to work again?

@pioneer6900 normally it should be your email but if someone unlocked it for you then you need to find the person who unlocked it and get their email and password!!! if you dont know who that was or if they forgot their password you will need to reset the whole phone and unlock it with your own email and pass (BUT THAT REQUIRES THE DATA PACKAGE) SO if you dont want to pay for data find someone with a g1 that has data on their phone and borrow their sim to unlock your phone with your phone

why doesnt the g1 have the slidin android button when someone call yu , you hve to either slide end or talk?

quick question and i need an answer right back ... i did the unlock for my friends G1 and it all worked with the AT&T SIM card but idk why he reset the phone and now the AT&T sim card doesnt work and im stuck on the set-up screen for android tap... do i just put another T-mobile SIM card to work the set-up cz its the same kid that owns another t-mobile sim card.. and the G1...
