Here's a tip for avoiding it. When you do a search, put "-expertvillage" (don't include the quotes, just the minus sign, one word) along with your search words. This will bypass any of their videos.

I found your video by typing "FUCK YOU expert village", I'm glad i'm not the only one who finds them infuriating. They have the worst videos, and they litter the search engine with GARBAGE! Youtube should ban them.

A while back I looked at an EV vid on how to refret a guitar. The vid lasted 1.30 ish minutes. It was utter nonsense. It must come down to money and how many hits they received as you have mentioned in your vid. Oh well, at least we know whats going on - They are funny to watch though and like you wandered whether the vid were spoofs.

Amen brotha. Im a bass player and the expert village videos on the subject are horriffic. The one that sent me overboard was the guy was actually shaking his bass by the strings! Why? To stretch the strings out. Its a good way to destroy a good instrument.
