Tribute to BMW 325Ci E46

Car options and packages: 2005 BMW 325Ci E46 SULEV. Xenon headlights, sport package, harmon kardon.

From wikipedia: BMW introduced a super ultra low emission vehicle (SULEV) into the select regions of the United States to meet stricter emission standards. California, New York, and Massachusetts received the SULEV E46's in 2003, and Vermont in 2004.[28] They received a variant of the M54 engine, the BMW M56.[28] The M56 meets SULEV standards, as well as partial zero emission vehicle (PZEV) and zero evaporative emissions requirements.[28] The M56 is claimed to have identical power as its M54 counterpart.[28]

i used a Canon HG21 camcorder. "cine mode" with 24P and with neutral color effects, (brings out a flat neutral image, thats very flexible for editing). i then used Final Cut Pro to edit in parts i needed, then used Color to edit the colors of the video to bring a washed older look to it. finally with Motion i blurred the license plates.

beautiful car. my e36 328is was just wrecked, so i'm currently looking into a e46 325ci that looks exactly like this one. did you do any modifications, or just leave it stock?

@dan34246 thanks, try to get one in manual. not too many performance mods except for a k&n air filter, pilot sport ps2 tires, and polyurethane lower control arm bushings. i fit in an auxillary audio input for the stereo, about 10$ in parts.

Great video, being an owner of a E46 I can appreciate why you love your car so much, mine is only a 318i but has done 185,000 with no major problems, same exhaust and clutch etc. Great cars.

@ColinPRS i upgraded to a 335i E90 6 speed manual. my sister drives this car now, i still prefer the E46 look over the E90. im working on a video for the 335i, similar to this one

@3312cdfp5674 The 335i must be a wonderful car, but petrol here has become so expensive I'd struggle to run one, we are paying about £6 a goolan, I believ that's about $9 ! I really like the shape of the E90 and hopefully will upgrade to one later this year, but the specialist I use prefers the ride of the E46. Thanks for replying.

@ColinPRS 9$ wow. we just started to climb over 4$ and everyone is starting to complain already. The 325Ci definitely handles better then the 335i

I have a e46 325i :) i love it to death, got K&N cold air intake, and a supercharger, along with a few tunes... best car i have ever owned... i can race mustang gt's and put them in their place straight line, and i can beat challengers srt's if their are some turns. on a track it performs beautifully

@3312cdfp5674 What annoys us is the governent take about 80% in duties! But I know your price has shot up, I can rememeber seeing prorammes and in the background it said $1.50 a gallon.

@3312cdfp5674 thanks man, i'm still saddened over losing he though. did those chrome tips come with the car? the one i'm looking don't have it, but i found some aftermarket oem/genuine ones on bavauto and other sites
