  • only problem: they think this thing is worth $995.

    can they really be serious?

  • The Jointmaker Pro is machined to precise tolerances using materials that are durable and long lasting, and is made in the USA. For an in-depth look at the pricing, check out the Bridge City website and Roger's review the Jointmaker-Pro.

  • I Love this tool! It has changed the way I think about woodworking.

  • Oh man... I'm only four weeks into my beginning woodworking class at VCU and I gotta say that even though I've only made a few simple joints, this machine looks TOTALLY awesome! I absolutely loathe the table saw. It's so noisy and overpowered. I feel like I'm doing surgery with a meat cleaver. This device is totally sexy; I'm sending this video to my wood teacher!

  • To line up your pins and tails you would use the same technique as you would when cutting dovetails traditionally, which is by transferring the cut pins with a scribe. Then, you cut to your line.

  • I cannot believe that, without some sort of locating fixture, that you'd EVER get pins and tails to line up. sure, it cuts pins and tails nicely, but how do you know WHERE to make the corresponding tail cuts so the joint is tight? When I see some sort of micro-metric accessory on the fence to guarantee perfect alignment of pin/tail cuts, then maybe I'd take a closer look.

  • Anyone who has ever made joints will watch this demo the same way that I just did: mouth agape. I'm really impressed. The simplicity and flexibility is astounding. Truly, that saw looks awesome. The cuts are incredibly clean as compared to any of the electric or hand powered tools that I've ever used. Kudos to Bridge City.

  • Wow, as someone who is constantly frustrated by rough cuts and either unwieldy jigs or overpowered saws, I'm really impressed. The simplicity and flexibility is astounding. Truly, that saw looks awesome. The cuts are incredibly clean as compared to any of the electric or hand powered tools that I've ever used. Kudos to Bridge City.
