How to Tie a Plafond Knot by TIAT

The Plafond Knot is named so on account of its similarities to motifs seen in Chinese temples and palaces. Also called the Lanyard Knot, the Plafond Knot is a decorative way to hold two pieces of rope together, or creating a striking rope medallion for a necklace.

Geez, this knot completely has my number. Your instructions are great, but I can never get the dressing and tightening of it. I always end up binding some of it, effectively making it all "stuck" and forcing me to start over.
