Kevin:*runs over to hug Maria and he is so excited he asked her out; he slaps his hand over his mouth*
Maria:*is happy and shocked at what he just asked her* Yes!
Kevin:*hugs her again and turns and walks away to go talk to his brothers but on the way he trips* im good!
Maria: *giggles*
*that night Abbie and Ashley are helping Maria get ready for her date*
Maria: *getting her dress on*
*the doorbell rings*
Ashley: don't worry Maria, I'll get the door. you just finish getting ready *walking out of the bedroom door*
Maria: *comes out of the closet* thank you! Hey Abbie, can you help me zip this up? *turns around to reveal an unzipped zipper*
Abbie: *looks up from the magazine she is reading* sure! *gets up from the bed and helps her*
*with Ashley and Kevin*
Ashley: *opens the door* oh hey Kev! *hugs him*
Kevin: hey Ash! is Maria ready yet?
Ashley: al-
Maria: yes! *comes running down the stairs*
Kevin: *staring at her* wow you look...beautiful...
Maria:*blushes* thank you!
Kevin: well... are you ready?
Maria: yeah, let's go!
Ashley:okay! have fun! be home before 11:30! bye! *closes the door*
Kevin:*opens the car door for Maria*
Maria: thank you! *gets in*
Kevin: *closes the door and gets into the drivers seat and drives to the beach*
Kevin: okay, now close our eyes and don't open them until i say so
Maria: okay! *closes her eyes*
Kevin:*leads her to a spot on the beach where there is a blanket surrounded by candes in the shape of a heart and a picnic basket in the middle of the blanket*okay you can open them now.
Maria:*opens her eyes* oh Kevin! This us so beautiful! *hugs him tight*
*they sit down;after almost an hour of talking and laughing*
Kevin: *laughs and looks into her eyes* your eyes are so beautiful...
Maria: i've been told *looks back into his eyes*
Kevin: Maria, I've been wanting to ask you this for a real long time ever since third grade actually, but i really didn't know how to say it and everytime i wanted to i chickened out because when i'm around you i feel so shy and i get so scared that i'm going to do something stupid like at auditions when i almost fell on my face, so since i'm alone with you now... i finally want to ask... Will you be my girlfriend? *hopeful*
