  • Why does the license plate have the year of '72 on it?

  • @tx51chevy The plate has '72 on it because back then in Kansas you got a new tag every year when you renewed it and the tags had the year on them. The last time this truck was tag was the fall of '71, so the tag would have been for '72 and that's why it has '72 on it. We still have the original tag and it has a '71 on it cause it was bought new and taged in the fall of '70.

  • how much

  • @superkingboo

    $35K

  • I This is a VERY nice truck.. But $200,000 for this?? Maybe $50,000 if you're lucky dude... Not many people ( including myself ) believe that 79.6 miles is the original mileage for this truck either..

  • @Sarcasticscum

You are right, $200,000 is a bit optimist, $50-60K is more in the range of what we are expecting.

As for you and suposedly others not believing that it only has 79.6 original miles, you are more than welcome to come and check it out for yourselves and see the documentation. You will see that this truck IS the real deal and is COMPLETELY original with only 79.6 miles.

We plan on posting another video this week showing it running and driving, stay tuned.

  • Not many trucks with 79 miles will have an engine with that much rust try 79,000 miles

  • chevys ad quality does speak for itself, ive seen teardown and seriously...that said, 1947-1993 looks great.

  • Looks just like my 69 c10. Same paint and all. Except I have the top trim on my 69. This is an awesome truck!

  • well people theres also no way it has 100k on it it was only plated for a 2 years

  • I've flipped my odometer over a couple times too.

  • is this truck still for sale?

  • I would be surprised if GM didnt want it for a display piece. Awesome find.

  • may I ask how come does have MOBIL oil change on the door jam ?

  • so whay are so many parts randomly rusted and flaking and others are fresh looking? why are the rad hold downs and the hood latch mech rsty but the core support is perfect?

why is the the motor so grimy around the intake nad block corners for only having 80 miles on it? i put more than that daily and my shit doesnt get that dirty .

  • Real nice find.
