@ussmemory :DDD It's because I love this movie soooo much!!!! Although it is great and well-made, it's not so popular and, in my opinion, it's far better than some hollywood movies...

@chrishot10 Yep. Unfortunately, 90% of Hollywood movies in this genre share the same drawbacks and cliches: bigger than life heroes and chosen ones trying to change the world - and always succeeding. Dialogues full of forced pathos, imposing morals, strict division on good guys and bad guys, etc. Frankly, I was amazed to see Alatriste free of all those. It's incredibly natural and sincere. My favorite history movie used to be the Polish "With Fire And Sword", but Alatriste seized the crown.
