In this 4th video I'm going to focus on the essential and foundational supplements that you need to take for overall health and fitness. Primarily greens, essential fatty acids, & multi-vitamins.

These are the "must have" supplements that everyone should take, regardless if you are into serious bodybuilding or not.

Laying the foundation of essential supplements and proper nutrition is critical before moving on to the more "advanced" muscle building and fat burning supplements which I'll be covering in more detail in my next video.

  • In this video, you make proper nutrition sound essential for fitness. I'm just wondering, if it's as important as you say, why did you leave it until part 4 instead of mentioning it earlier?

  • @fi4re

I covered this in the first video of the series, just go back and watch "Bodybuilding Supplements Guide" at 3:50 in that video I cover this specifically.

  • Hey Lee, I'm just wondering what is your range of mgs you would intake as far as Iron is concerned? Because everybody keeps giving me a lot of different numbers.

  • @bgainesDM

I personally don't take iron supplements, the only iron I get is what's found in my multi-vitamins and through my food. However, if you have an iron deficiency than that's a different matter and should be monitored by a doctor.

  • I bought some centrum performance - are they as complete as the multivitamins you show in the video? - Any guidelines when choosing a multivitamin or are most of them basically the same?

  • @rgaufman

A lot of the popular brands are good and will meet your needs, but one brand in particular that I like is Blue Star, they have very high potency supplements. You can check them out online at: BlueStarMuscle*com

Supplements are NOT meant to replace your food, but to be taken in addition to food. I still eat "real food" and lots of it.
