I lost a shoe at Rock city, Nottingham (circa 1988), never found it either - had to walk through Notts with one shoe, missed my last train home to Leicester and then faced with very expensive taxi ride ...............Gedge, you were worth it!

I saw them at Newcastle Mayfair in '89. I lost a shoe during the mayhem and wasn't alone at the end of the evening scouring the floor for missing shoes. Luckily I found the shoe (which now looked 5 years older than the one that I managed to keep on my foot) and 'borrowed' a spare shoelace left behind.

Great song and after more than twenty years since watching them live I've had a go at this song myself (see attached).
