Calculus is easy. Most people dont try to do the work legit which is why they fail out.

Calc 1 is super easy....calc 2 on the other hand...Well it works well so only the people that are actually interested/motivated to be an engineer stick with it while the people that don't care drop.

what they don't tell you is that three quarters of the first year students drop out because they can't handle the crazy calculus ...
