Emily Barker and The Red Clay Halo - Pause (The Shadow Line Full Re-Edit)

Pause has been selected by award-winning composer Martin Phipps as the theme tune to The Shadow Line, a major new drama serial created by Hugo Blick for BBC Two.

Martin, who collaborated with Emily on the Bafta-winning Nostalgia / Wallander theme tune, has once again created a new version of the original recording to fit the title credits and other sequences of this anticipated TV drama.

This series reminds me why it is worth paying a licence fee. Only the BBC makes drama as good as this. Drama that doesn't treat the audience like morons. The sound track just tops it off.

Sorry Alistair Cast but you really a no hoper. Just carry on watching childrens TV. This has been one of the best series on TV of late, and i second the previous post. Only the BBC can do this sort of stuff. Great series, and great acting and will hopefully win some awards for the producution and cast. Also this piece of music was made for this series. Keep up the good drama BBC, good luck to Emily.

This show is unbelievable. It blows pretty much every television show playing in America. (besides Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, Luck, The Killing) The music in the show goes so good with the scenes, and Rafe Spall plays a lunatic so good.

I loved how the character of Gatehouse gave the show an almost supernatural air.

A gangster story that truly sets itself above the rest.

yeah i enjoyed this show too. gatehouse, great bit of john lecarre scariness there.

some yoof should sample this into a dubstep tune itd be heavy.
