I agree with pretty much everything you said. We need to focus on improving our situation in AMERICA. We love Africa, I'm starting to want to connect more with my African ancestry, track the roots... But some go too far with titles and such. I think they gravitate to Africa because they somehow feel their AA heritage is insufficient, that's a little theory I throw around.
