When I went through MP training in the Corps.We were at Lackland AF base in Texas.That was March 1985.The Marine Corps. had our barracks on the backside of the base.We had 1 Marine instructor and 3 Airforce instructors.I loved running pt in the morning singing cadence waking up the zoomies...Semper Fi 5811...

@BLLAARRRGG or they can be doing the american people a favor. the 3rd battalion 1st marine regiment and the national gourd were deployed to downtown LA to help stop the 1992 riots. sure msitakes were made in the past but thats how you learn when it comes to the evolution on riot control and non lethal tactics.

@llshamelessll its also to subdue people overseas. they cant just beat the hell out of a haji to subdue them. also they learn how to take down targets to arrest them. that can come in handy if a Marine had too much to drinking too much.
