The two women were sisters, they were trying to kill themselves. They both survived this but while one was in hospital, the other went on to knife a man to death in his own home. As far as I know, she is still in prison. Her sister went back home, sweden I think. They have never said why they did it.

Saw a tv programme about these twins. Its a weird story, the 2 of them appear to have gone totally bonkers for a short time and don't really have much recollection of it. Kind of like a collective madness. Very strange. Hence only the one day in jail. They were mentally ill so those saying they should've been killed shame on you.
