What about a marriage certificate, though Im sure the 1900 census would be a good way to prove her age, maybe they have a family Bible. However there still one woman whose lived at least three years longer than her, Jeanne Calment who was 122. However living to be 119 is impressive and so is having 4th great grandchildren. Happy birthday Rebecca Lanier and may you have many more.

She experienced the Jim Crow laws all of her youth and must have seen someone she knew or cared about getting lynched.

My great grandmother is 100 still cooking at 99 she can still walk too.

@EuropeanGuy87 where in europe are you from?

@quezcatol It might sounds strange, but it really works,.. I also know a secret recipe passed down from 7 generation into my family, which makes a scar literally disappear in 3 months, and it's from 2 ingredients that comes from plant and animal.. Sometimes nature can do miracles

@EuropeanGuy87 my mothers grandma died at age 98, never ate healthy in her life. with that said, she did never work in her life. so I guess she never was "stressed".
God bless Mrs Lanier! No matter what age can be verified by anyone on this earth God surely know and all you nay Sayers will be dealt with accordingly!! Now "post" that!!

According to experts, she is only around 106 years old (she was checked in the 1920 and 1930 censuses). She still can become the oldest person in 9 years or so, even without a birth certificate.
