  • that helicopter looks like a Blade 400

  • It is not made from a helicopter. Leg servos are standard size servos, not the micro ones used in a blade 400 :) There are a few sub micro servos in the head, but they were spare servos I had laying around... I don't have a blade 400, so no parts came from it.

  • No helis were harmed in the making of this retarded thing. It uses the ccpm principle of a heli transmitter that mixes the way the 3 servos function together, NOT made from a heli. The only parts that are specifically for helis are the ball links, which were worn out links from one of my helicopters, They were no longer safe to fly with, and instead of tossing them, I made a flashlight with legs.

  • Dude your wasting you time replying to this dork. This is truly a cool robot.

  • Thanks. Anyone has the right to post what they feel :) I actually get a kick out of people who doesn't appreciate something a little different. The rebellious part of me loves the fact that they can't accept creativity. After all he is right, it is a flashlight with legs. But have you ever seen a 3 legged flashlight with direct r/c control? The reason that I responded is that he thought I had taken a heli and destroyed it to make this. I would never destroy one of my helis on purpose lol :)

  • pretty much the most stable movement here.

if they are ever going to make a household robot that would individually move, they should make those kind of insect legs i think ^^

  • And so we see why nature prefers even numbers of legs

  • Ahahahahahaha

  • why not use your fourth servo, from the eye, for a fourth legg and make it walk bether

  • that wall-e needs a good foot on his ass

  • u need the legs from this with the other head

  • maybe some rubber feet covers with more grip.

    ...this is totally awesome!

  • Very interesting. I have a similar robot design in mind, but mine will be neural network controlled. Where can I get the servos?

  • looks like a dragoon on sc

  • first swashbot were making much nicer sounds...
