http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2010/09/11/alkaline-water-... - Dr. Joseph Mercola, a renowned natural health physician, talks to water filtration expert Houston Tomasz about the pros and cons of alkaline water and why you would want to avoid drinking tap water. (Part 1 of 2)
If you are getting your minerals from water you are in trouble. get your minerals from vegetables and supplements. Yale and Dartmouth experts feel that distilled water is the best. I respect Dr. Mercola but I hope he will pursue this topic more. For instance well water has minerals but not ones that are needed in human nutrition. In this interview you have two men who really have not looked at the science behind water. Just an opinion.,

yes the water that hits the stomach will lose its alkaline state instantly... But with the Kangen water being micro clustered it hits the cells more before even hitting the stomach... Thats why you don't feel the bloating like with other waters...Do your research folks this is all bogus information

I urge both of you to google Viktor Schauberger and learn about him. His water inventions in the 30's were stolen and his life cut short by Big Business. Houston and Dr. Mercola, I respect you work and direction. It looks to me like you both could benefit from Dr. Robert Young. The ph miracle Doctor. Sea salt will cure your water retaining. As well as grow your hair. All in love

When concerned with urban filtration systems, complex sugar and highly oxidative stress lifestyles, I think that drinking filtered water is as relevant as healthy diet and supplementation. What I do at home is I have a reverse osmosis filter and the remineralize the water using a inexpensive machine that adds minerals and uses a vortex to create hexagonal water. The result is a 40 ppm water at a mineral ph of 9.5.
