@slapdaddy1234 Well, in stanley kubrick's films, like a clockwork orange, or 2001 a space odyssey, it's really good too... And i suppose there are a lot of other films with a really good use of music, but i just can't think of it right now. ;)

I think that the only reason that people call this movie "depressing" is because of the fact that it had to end. If they would've shown Jim and Claudia getting together, or Donnie Smith and Brad or something then people would probably feel happier when the left this movie. But that's really the point of the whole thing, it's a horrible random dreary world but if you use your own imagination about how the movie ended then it isn't so bad after all.
