All hand held man, using Canon 1Ds and 70-200 f/2.8L IS. I've NEVER seen DJ use a tripod ever. The scene where its raining, he was using off camera flash triggered by pocket-wizards.
David, I have a question , what iso do you normally shoot at 1600 on shoots like this one? what about the noise factor? Does not that affect when the clients need to make enlargements?

Most professional or semi-pro camera bodies are somewhat water resistant.

I know u are using the (L) lens but what about the tripod, i mean its mostly available light that u are using for these shots
