if you gonna race with the cvt then race in sport manual mode and shift at about 6000 or 6200 rpm if you hold out much longer on the stock build then you pass the powerband and if you are running anything less then 91 octane you aren't getting near the full use out of your car after you try those few tips and race again you can expect better results but after you hit about 115mph then you can put it in full auto mode. and dont just use the paddle shifters because isn't as aggressive as slap.

It's a cvt... You can't race with a cvt transmission. Buy something with gears.

this is like racing a 4cyl alitma cvt vs a 2000 automaic maxima. fair???

the legend has more power but the lancer is a lot lighter and thats why it somewhat kept up
