'73 was the last year of the bigger Mustangs before going to the Fox Body. This one has recently been painted yellow. When I say yellow I mean bright yellow. This car would stand out in a crowd for miles. In 1973, the front end was changed to fit new bumper standards, and a new Mach 1 grille was made. The Mach 1 grille in prior years had 2 "sport lamps" horizontally across the grill on the left and right side, while the functional parking lamps rode low underneath the front bumper at the outer ends of the valance panel. Also, all '73 models had the sport lamps changed to a vertical orientation at each end of the grill, and these lamps served double duty as the parking lamps also. The Mach 1 graphics were also updated to a simpler, yet bolder design, which was necessitated by the change in the front bumper.
The interior has some bumps and bruises but nothing out of the ordinary for a classic car. Leather has held up well through the ages considering over 95K miles. The power is created from the 351 Cleveland engine, along with an automatic transmission. A previous owner has installed an alarm system as well. This is one of those cars you would like in your collection but couldn't find one for the right price. Well here is your chance.
