do you know, the great Robert A. Heinlein, worked on this film. this is why it was as close to fact as could be for it's time. sure some of the ideas were off, but some else said, it was more science fact then fiction. Thank you Mr Heinlein for all you gave us, from stranger in a strange land to helping make movies like this better .RIP sir, to the man who really did sell the moon.

Who is the dimwit here? You obviously understand so much about the rocket equation that you can derive it in your sleep. Then again, you likely believe that nobody has even been into orbit at all, and that anybody outside of your basement is a figment of the imagination.

As for proof.... people are going back to the Moon very soon and will be planting additional flags next to Neil Armstrongs's. Even then, you will think it is something done by Hollywood and not happening in real life.

Of course, it's fools like you who say you have proof you saw a ghost jump over a fence, and if no one believes you, you'll show them the fence. And, not in a "Hollywood back lot", moron; in studios. If you're going to engage in an argument, at least do it from facts and logic and not your wet-panties emotions, dimwit. And, now, get lost.

You can't argue with the moon denier idiots. Best just to ignore them.

It is hard to imagine today just how much was not really known about going to the Moon even in 1961 when Kennedy said America was going to put people there. Many of the people at NASA had serious doubts it was even possible at the time. It is even harder to think that the calculations for getting to the Moon were done with slide rules and paper, yet that is how it was done.

Go back to the ether from where you came. Seriously, people like you make me sick thinking that anybody believes this nonsense that the Apollo missions (or the related unmanned missions by both the Russians, Americans, Chinese, and Japanese thus far) were faked in a Hollywood backlot.

I've met these astronauts, held Moon rocks in my own hands, and knew the engineers who built the components. It happened and is history.

I guess you are a product of the public education system.

Show me the science journals and books written by real scientists in the cosmological, rocket science and radiation fields, stating that man can't have tranvelled to Moon.

No, I don't know the astronauts personally, but I have read about them and interviews with them by international journalists even BEFORE they flew to Moon. Armstrong, for example was famous long before. He flew the X-15, was selected to fly the cancelled X-20 Dyna Soar and flew in the Gemini program. He hated publicity.

You understand nothing. Because of science people doubt stories of manned Moon landings. You knew the astronauts personally, did ya? You don't know prof interrogators can detect lies - even without polygraphs. Current books tell how to spot liars & fakes & discuss actual cases, some well known. Your 2nd sentence exposes you as a big BSer since the opposite is true. I understand you're uncomfortable w/logic & reason & good thinkers & actual facts. You're a waste of time, goofball. BYE!.

What about the Van Allen belts? Ever heard or read any REAL scientixts, who have actually meassured the radiation in space, stating that man can't pass through them?

Even James Van Allen himself said that such a claim was "nonsense".

Yes, for the same reason they used some small men ("midgets"), when the astronauts are seen at bigger distance. One can see that their helmets look bigger than normal.
