When I went to the website "Feasts of the Lord.net" it says that approximately on 10/2011 there will be a Pre-Wrath Rapture? Do you really believe this?

@ILJ4eTD I think that we should not be making dates. God could well bring us out before then, depending on what is happening. It does say that only our Father knows the times and hour. We must be living each day as if He will return tomorrow, yet plan for months or years later. So that we will always be ready!

@IsaRefreshingSpirit There were 10 translations of the KJV based on 23 editions of the textus receptus, which also borrowed from other texts. I'd like to see a modern Tyndale new testament or geneva bible. They were all generally based on the same ancient manuscripts. I've never read a CJB, does it contain the new testament letters?

@FOTL4J Yes, I undertsand darby/scofield were false teachers. (I won't read the NIV. Some important passages are misinterpreted) I have no problem with the 1995 nasb, knjv, amplified, and some others. I basically don't trust most of the 'teachers' today who write books telling everyone what to believe. 1st-century apostle's doctrine and teaching cannot change, so I will trust that.

@bgerst23 : The word "rapture" does not appear in any Bible. We are in fact, gathered up. There seems to be much controversy over this "gathering", but if you read Rev. 6, the believers are gathered around the throne of God just after the sealing of the 144,000 of Israel. This is after the sun turns to darkness and the moon turns blood-red. As for the mark of the beast, yes, it will appear on the hand or forehead. But I have never read anything of the sort in Ezekiel!

There are many translations of the Bible. I prefer the CJB (Complete Jewish Bible) for the simple reason that the words are properly translated from Hebrew text and not from the KJV which many seem to prefer. To me, the KJV is hard for any new Christian to decifer.

@2011JesusFreak1 : I no longer use the NIV translation and do not always use the KJV....my Bible is the CJB. It is truer to the historical Hebrew text and trust me, the meanings of the words are truer to Hebrew than even KJV.
