This was part of a show of Tahitian dance at the 'Intercontinental Hotel Tahiti' (Beachcomber) in Jan/07. It was awesome!

I believe, if these videos are recent... then these dancers are from Les Grands Ballets de Tahiti.

omg! you may be right! you may be wrong... I think it's called Ballet National du Tahiti because that's what an employee of the hotel told me when I asked him that night. I also had saw something in a website. Now, I'm wondering if he told me the right name. They are really good and I loved them, so I want to give them the right credits. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I'll try to find it out and then if I was wrong I'll correct it on the video description.

Hey Iaakapu, you were right! I don't know why I made this mistake (maybe I was too excited during vacations, haha!). I've just made a little research and found out that the name of this group is indeed "Les Grands Ballets de Tahiti", at least as I saw on their website that they usually do shows at the Beachcomber Tahiti (InterContinental), so, it must be the same. I shot these videos during dinner at the Beachcomber Tahiti a saturday night, in january 2007. Once again, thank you! See ya!
