How To... Block Pop-Ups on Internet Explorer 8

This How To... video will talk you through how to block pop-ups on Internet Explorer 8. This Also Works For The New "Internet Explorer 9".

DETAILED STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS:-

1- Firstly, open up Internet Explorer 8
2- Once you've opened Internet Explorer 8, you should see some menu's at the top in the main toolbar, Click The one that says "Tools".
3 - This will open a drop-down menu which will contain many different Sub-Menu's, The Last Sub_menu Should be called "Internet Options", Click it.
4- A new Window Will Open. At the top of this new window will be a a row of Menu's (General, Security, Privacy, Content .etc.), Click The one Called Privacy.
5- About half way down, there should be a part called Pop-Up Blocker. In this section, there is a sentence which says "Turn Pop-up Blocker On", make sure the box to the left of this sentence has a tick in it. If it doesn't have a tick in it, click it and a tick will appear.
6- Now that you've successfully turned on Pop-Up blocker you should get very few pop-ups (unfortunately, you might still get one or two pop-ups but in most cases you wont get any).
