bullshit, emo goes back to a time long ago called the 80's with bands like rites of spring, fugazi, and embrace. then in the 90's bands like the get up kids, texas is the reason, mineral, sunny day real estate braid, cap'n jazz all came about. just because it isnt what mtv calls emo doesnt mean its not. because all this bull shit thats out today isnt what emo was in its heyday doesnt mean its not "emo" because they are displaying emotion....
