Question: What do you tell a blond with two black eyes?

Answer: You tell her nothing. Someone has already tried to tell her twice already.

Several Danish kings (including Sweyn I "Forkbeard" and Cnut I the Great) got to rule over Denmark, England and Norway, and reign the Baltic region and beyond. The size of the empire and the spread of Danes did of course leave its footprint. As of today, a part of England is still named 'Danelaw' (Danish; Danelov = "Danish law"). So Denmark, Danes and Danish has had its fair share influence on England - while Sweden has had almost none. 'Mug'(Danish) means "mug"(English).

She doesn't know what she's talking about...The word 'mug' is more likely of Danish origin - not Swedish...The Danes/Vikings executed regular raids on England(and others) during the Vikings age. They'd either fight their way to a result,or get paid what was known as 'Danegeld'(Danish; Danegæld = "Danish tax"),a tax raised to pay tribute to the Viking raiders to save the land from being ravaged. However, at some point regions of England were conquered, and became parts within the Kingdom of Denmark
