Thank you for this video. I have mentioned Ms.Bragg on a forum and was attacked by a lot of what I believe to be black male rights activists. LoL

I don't believe black women are trying to compete with black men necessarily, we just don't want our achievements to be ignored. Like you said Sahbi we live in a sexist society that is drenched in patriarchal values - which is why (I believe) men feel threatened or challenged by a woman that doesn't "know her place" if you will.
