@loginz1176 yes, life so sad....foreigners come to thailand and spend BILLION of baht each year......the only entertainment in the areas you mentioned is ADULT and comprise less than 1% places. The Thai government has restricted (I agree) this type of entertainment to those few areas. 99% of the rest of the country is decent and conservative and family oriented. Don't go to areas where 90% of the women their are "working women". I find your complaint hollow…................

it's so sad for local Thai women, we can't enjoy in many of our own famous night-life attraction as Patpong, Patong, Pattaya, Khao-san etc.
because foreigners always looking on me as a prostitute, we have to enjoying in other place else away from a chance to meet many new overseas friends.
that's a one reason why foreigner always have a bad attitude on Thais women, even some think we are golden digger for American or Japanese tourism :(

someday Patpong have to change their club suitable for Thai people in Bangkok more than foreigners. because today everything's changed, many tourism don't care this avenue anymore because it's very expansive during a land cost (located in central economic of Bangkok) and will moving out to Pattaya or Phuket for cheaper club in comparing quality services.
but i think not for Thaniya because as long as Japanese are rich, this street will prepare S-grade services suitable for Japanese all the time.
