@AlexSlams IMO. The kick pattern on the intro is unusual. The fact that the drummer never plays the same pattern on repeating parts is very unusual and "loose". When I first heard the album this song is on, I was blown away. The drums have a very unique, organic, honest, and semi-jazzy feel/sound. The band has an original sound, accomplished by an unusual approach (esp. the drummer). It's refreshing to see and hear this act in an industry dominated by auto tuned, programmed BS
