you can add a 9 volt battery a switch and have it be a little more convenient just make sure the led's are soldered to resistors and everything is wired right though this will be a bit more complicated.

@sexylilaprons Try it out! You can buy dedicated shoe clips that are less likely to poke you, but I used what I had around.
